I spent many a happy day at Pebble Mill, appearing several times on Pebble Mill at One and recording many hours of songs for BBC Radio 2 with The Midland Radio Orchestra under such luminaries as Norrie Paramor (Cliff Richard) and Geoff Love.

I was resident here in the early 70's

I was the resident singer at The Night Out from when it opened in 1974 until I left to perform my own cabaret act worldwide in 1977.

This is a publicity shot from the mid-70's.  The photo was given to me as taken in 1977 but it would appear to be pre-opening, which would date it some three years earlier than that.

Little John Pedrick's claim to fame was as an Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.  Ronnie Dukes (along with his lovely wife Ricky) I miss hugely.  After slogging away in the business for 27 years they became an 'overnight success' until he sadly passed away half way through his act in Jersey in 1981 at the young age of only 49.
